Why it Matters

Throwaway inboxes let people pass a signup form and vanish. Catching known temp-mail domains before you store the address or pay to send to it is a fast first filter. It is not proof the remaining addresses are real.

The Disposable Email Checker compares each address’s domain to a dated list of known throwaway hosts. It is a first filter for signups and list imports — not inbox verification.

How it works

Each token is split the same way as the validator (new lines, commas, semicolons). The domain after @ is lowercased. The tool then checks that domain and its parent suffixes against the denylist, so box.mailinator.com matches mailinator.com. Invalid strings and case-insensitive duplicates are flagged separately.

The list is not live. It is a curated snapshot with an as-of date. New temp-mail brands will miss until the list is updated.

Privacy

Everything runs locally. Addresses are never uploaded, logged, or stored.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does a green “Not listed” mean the inbox is real?
No. It only means the domain is not on this dated throwaway list. The address can still bounce, be a role account, or sit on a catch-all. Pair with the Email Validator for format, then your ESP for delivery.
Why did a temp-mail address pass?
The list is curated and dated, not exhaustive. New throwaway hosts appear constantly. Treat a miss as a false negative, not a guarantee. Recheck the as-of date in the tool.
Do you include SimpleLogin, iCloud Hide My Email, or Firefox Relay?
No. Those are privacy aliases, not disposable spam inboxes. Blocking them punishes people protecting their real address.
Does this check MX records or talk to the mail server?
No. Everything runs in the browser against a static domain list. MX and SMTP probes need a server and are out of this tool.
Is my list uploaded?
No. Addresses never leave your device. Closing the tab clears them.
