Block Throwaway Signups

Paste a trial address through the Disposable Email Checker before you create an account — catch Mailinator and Yopmail without an MX lookup.

Steps

  1. Open the Disposable Email Checker.
  2. Paste the address from the signup form (one line is enough).
  3. If status is Throwaway, do not create the account — or require a different address.
  4. If status is Not listed, still run the Email Validator for typos like gmial.com.
  5. Remember: not listed ≠ delivered. Your app still needs its own confirmation email.

Watch out

  • This page is for operators and QA, not a drop-in API.
  • New temp-mail brands will miss the dated list.
  • Subdomains of listed hosts (for example box.mailinator.com) do flag.

Should production signups call this page?

No. This is a manual check. Wire your own denylist or a verification API at signup time. Use Tools.Town to inspect a suspicious address or to audit an export.

A real customer uses a privacy alias. Will you block them?

The shipped list does not include SimpleLogin, Hide My Email, or Firefox Relay. Do not add those yourself unless you mean to reject privacy-conscious users.
