Clean Throwaways From a List

Strip known temporary-mailbox domains from a CRM or form export before you import to an ESP or estimate transactional send cost.

Steps

  1. Export contacts from the CRM or form tool.
  2. Open the Disposable Email Checker.
  3. Paste the column of addresses (new lines, commas, or semicolons).
  4. Click Copy Not-Listed. Optionally Copy Throwaways for a review pile.
  5. Paste the keep-list into the Email Validator and fix typos.
  6. Dedupe before import.
  7. If you are about to pay for sends, open the Email Cost Calculator.

Watch out

  • The denylist is dated and incomplete. A pass is not a verified inbox.
  • Do not upload the CSV to a random “email verifier” if the list is personal data — this tool stays in the browser on purpose.

Keep it as a review file if you need to confirm a false positive. Do not import it into the ESP.

Order of operations?

Throwaways → format/typos → dedupe. Then estimate cost. Reversing the order still works; dedupe last avoids paying twice.
