Privacy Policy

The short version

  • Most tools run entirely in your browser — that data never reaches our servers.
  • For AI tools, your photos belong to you: stored privately, deleted whenever you choose, never used for training or marketing.
  • We don't sell data. We don't show ads.

What we collect

Account: when you sign in with Google we store your name, email, and profile picture. Payments: processed by Razorpay — we never see your card or UPI details, only the order status. Usage: we record which tools you use, when, and whether the request succeeded, to operate billing and improve the product.

Children's photos — special care

School Tools lets parents upload a child's photo to create personalised school art. We treat these with extra protection:

  • You are in control. Photos stay in your private library until you delete them (Account → Storage). Deletion is immediate and permanent.
  • Private by design. Photos and generated images are stored encrypted at rest and served only through expiring, signed links tied to your login — they are never publicly accessible.
  • Reduced detail. Photos are downscaled in your browser before upload; we never receive the full-resolution original.
  • No training, no sharing. Your photos are sent to our AI provider only to create the image you asked for, and are never used to train models or shared with anyone else.
  • Dormant accounts. If an account is unused for 18 months we email you a warning, then delete its stored photos (your generated images and credits remain).
  • Consent. By uploading a child's photo you confirm you are the parent/legal guardian or have their consent — see the Terms of Use.

Storage & processing

Data is processed on Cloudflare's network and AI images are generated via OpenAI's API. Authentication is provided by Google Sign-In. Each provider receives only what's needed for its function.

Your rights

You can view and delete your photos any time from your account. To delete your entire account and its data, or for any privacy question (including rights under India's DPDP Act), email support@tools.town.
