Use Case

Include Dividends in Stock Total Return

Add dividend-per-share events so total return includes cash received, not just price appreciation.

Steps

  1. Open the Stock Investment Return Calculator.
  2. Enter buy price, amount, and current price (and dates if you want CAGR).
  3. Click + dividend for each cash dividend you want to include.
  4. Enter ₹ per share and the date (dividends use the share count as of that point in the timeline).
  5. Compare Price P/L with Total return (price + dividends) on the result card.

If you only need yield from today’s price and annual DPS, use the Dividend Yield Calculator.
