Real-world workflow
Use CasePrefix + Random Barcodes for Internal Inventory
Mint unique warehouse codes like TT + 10 digits as Code 128 — single SVG/PNG or full A4 sheets — without inventing retail EANs.
The job
Internal SKUs / bin IDs that must stay unique in a batch, without buying GS1 prefixes.
Steps
- Decide a short prefix (
TT,WH, brand code). - For one code: Barcode Generator → Prefix + random.
- For a sheet: Barcode Label Sheet with the same prefix.
- Store the printed list (PDF or screenshot of preview) in your inventory sheet.
Do not use this for Meesho BP-TP packet IDs — those are vendor-only.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is TT########## a real EAN?
No. It is your internal Code 128 payload. Retail EAN/UPC need licensed GS1 numbers.
