What this tool does
Study Pomodoro is a Pomodoro timer built for studying. You configure your focus and break lengths, set how many sessions to run, and the tool builds a complete study plan — alternating focus sprints with short breaks and a long break after every few sessions. Press Start and it counts down, auto-advances through the breaks, and tracks how many focus sessions you’ve completed.
Why the Pomodoro Technique works
Two things stop people studying: not starting, and not stopping in time. A short, fixed focus sprint makes starting feel easy (“it’s only 25 minutes”), and the scheduled break protects you from burning out. Making the whole plan visible as a timeline turns an open-ended study session into a finite, finishable block.
Free vs Pro
The timer here is free and private — nothing you do leaves your browser. For students who want to build a habit, Study Pomodoro Pro is planned to add persistent history, daily and weekly stats with streaks, subject tracking, cross-device sync, and CSV export. Only the free timer ships today.
