What this tool does
Enter a distance and finish time to calculate your pace per kilometre and mile. Or enter a pace and distance to predict your finish time. Projected splits show estimated times at standard race waypoints from 400m to the full marathon.
Pace basics
Pace is how long it takes to cover one unit of distance — typically one kilometre or one mile. A pace of 5:00 min/km means each kilometre takes exactly 5 minutes. At that pace a 10K takes 50:00 and a half-marathon takes approximately 1:45:34.
Pair this with the Heart Rate Zones calculator to match pace to training zones, or Calories Burned to estimate energy expenditure per run.
