What this tool does
The Pressure Converter turns a pressure value into every common unit at once — Pascal, kilopascal, megapascal, bar, millibar, PSI, atmosphere, mmHg, Torr, inHg, and inches of water — so you never have to chain conversions by hand.
How it works
Every conversion goes through the SI base unit, the Pascal. Your value is multiplied by the source unit’s pascals-per-unit factor, then divided by the target unit’s factor. Results are rounded to 8 significant figures. Everything runs locally in your browser.
Why so many units?
Different fields standardised on different units: PSI for tyres and US engineering, bar for diving and European industry, hPa/mbar for weather, mmHg/Torr for medicine and vacuum work, and atm in chemistry. Showing them side by side makes cross-field work painless. To understand where each unit comes from, see our pressure units guide.
