What this tool does
The Pregnancy Due Date Calculator estimates your expected delivery date (EDD), your current week and trimester, days remaining, and the key milestones of pregnancy — from either the first day of your last period or a known conception date.
How it works
By default it uses Naegele’s rule: the due date is 280 days (40 weeks) from the first day of your last menstrual period. If your cycle isn’t 28 days, the tool shifts the estimate to match when you actually ovulate. Choose the conception-date method and it counts 266 days from conception instead.
Informational only — not medical advice
This is a calendar estimate, not a diagnosis. Babies rarely arrive exactly on the estimated date, and an early ultrasound is the most accurate way to date a pregnancy. Always confirm your due date and discuss any concerns with your doctor or midwife. To understand the dating methods in depth, see our due date guide.
