UTM Link Builder

Introducing the UTM Link Builder — Clean Campaign Tracking URLs

Build correctly-encoded UTM campaign URLs with source, medium, campaign, term, and content. Required-field checks, casing normalisation, runs entirely in-browser.

Campaign attribution lives or dies on consistent UTM tags. One stray capital letter or unencoded space and a single campaign splits into a mess of near-duplicate rows in your analytics. Today we’re launching the UTM Link Builder to make those links clean by default.

What it does

Paste your destination URL, fill in utm_source, utm_medium, and utm_campaign (plus optional utm_term and utm_content), and the builder hands you a correctly-encoded tracking link ready to drop into an ad, email, or social post. It validates the three required fields, normalises casing so “Email” and “email” don’t fragment your reports, and merges cleanly when your URL already has a query string or #fragment.

Why we built it

Most free UTM builders are single-shot forms that don’t catch the mistakes that actually hurt — mixed casing, missing required fields, double-encoded values. We wanted one that nudges you toward clean data. If you want to understand the parameters themselves, our UTM parameters guide walks through each one with examples.

Pairs well with

After you build a link, paste it into the URL Parser to confirm every parameter decoded the way you intended, or use the Query String Builder when you need to add non-UTM parameters too.

What’s next

The free builder is here to stay. For teams running many campaigns, we’re planning a Pro tier with saved templates, a shared naming convention, bulk generation from a spreadsheet, and branded short links. For now, build clean links for free — try it out.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which fields are required?
utm_source, utm_medium, and utm_campaign. The builder flags any of these that are missing before you copy the link.
Does it store my campaigns?
No — the free builder runs entirely in your browser and stores nothing. Saved templates and bulk generation are planned Pro features.
