Introducing Text to Morse — Encode and Decode Morse Code Instantly

Text to Morse is now live on Tools.Town — a clean, fast Morse code encoder and decoder that handles both directions and gives you the full character-by-character breakdown as you type.

Type a message and get the Morse output in seconds, or paste a Morse sequence and recover the original text. The tool uses the International Morse Code (ITU standard) throughout.

What it does

• Encode and decode — convert text to Morse code or Morse code back to plain text, with both directions available on the same page. Switching between them takes one click.
• Full ITU Morse table — the tool covers all 26 letters (A-Z), digits 0-9, and a set of common punctuation marks using the standard ITU encodings. No non-standard or regional variants are introduced.
• Word separator options — choose how word boundaries are marked in the Morse output: the conventional forward slash (/), a double space, or a vertical bar. The decoder recognizes your chosen separator when reading input back in.
• Per-character grid — every character in your input is displayed in its own cell showing the letter and its Morse sequence below it. This makes it easy to read individual characters rather than scanning a long continuous string.
• Reference table collapsible — an expandable reference panel shows the complete ITU Morse alphabet for all letters and digits, so you can check any character’s encoding without leaving the page.
