Notes App is now live on Tools.Town — a clean, distraction-free browser notepad for jotting down quick notes, ideas, and references without signing up for yet another app. Everything stays in your browser.
Open the page, start typing. Your notes are there next time you come back.
What Does It Do?
Quick Notes
A minimal text editor that gets out of the way. No toolbar clutter, no formatting overhead — just type.
Multiple Notes
Create as many named notes as you need. Switch between them from the sidebar without losing your place.
Markdown Mode
Toggle Markdown preview to render your notes with headings, lists, and emphasis formatting.
All notes are stored in your browser’s local storage. Nothing is sent to any server — your notes are private and offline-capable.
How It Works
Create a note
Click New Note, give it a title, and start typing. It auto-saves as you type.
Write anything
Plain text or Markdown — the editor handles both. Switch between edit and preview modes.
Organize
All notes appear in the sidebar. Rename, delete, or switch between them at any time.
Why We Built It
We needed a scratchpad — somewhere to paste a URL, draft a quick message, or jot a calculation while working in the browser. Notes App is that scratchpad: instantly available, no login, no sync required, no distracting features. It’s the notepad you already have in your phone’s default app, but in the browser where you’re already working.
