Image Cropper is now live on Tools.Town — a browser-based image cropping tool with freeform and preset aspect ratio selection, fine-rotation controls, and instant download — no software or account needed.

Upload your photo, drag the crop box, adjust the aspect ratio, and download the result.

What Does It Do?

Freeform Crop

Drag any crop region across your image. Resize handles give you precise control over the selection area.

Aspect Ratios

Lock to 1:1, 4:3, 16:9, 3:2, or a custom ratio — essential for social media profile and cover photos.

Rotation

Rotate 90° in either direction or use the fine-rotation slider to correct a tilted horizon.

All processing is done in your browser — your images are never sent to any server.

How It Works

Upload photo

Drag and drop or click to upload a JPEG, PNG, or WebP image.

Set crop region

Drag the crop box, lock an aspect ratio, or enter exact pixel dimensions.

Download

Click Crop & Download to save the cropped image in your chosen format.

Why We Built It

Cropping is the most common image editing task — resizing a photo for a profile picture, cutting out distracting backgrounds, preparing a thumbnail. Opening Photoshop or even Preview just to crop is overkill. Image Cropper handles this in three clicks, directly in the browser.
