Client-side calculators (MVP tools)

EMI, GST, SIP, BMI, and word counter run entirely in the visitor's browser. Input values are not sent to Tools.Town servers for these tools.

Embed assets

The plugin and script embed load JavaScript and CSS from tools.town/embed/ (or bundled copies inside the plugin for offline resilience). This is standard CDN delivery — no personal data in those requests.

Server-side & AI tools (Pro+)

Tools that call Tools.Town APIs (image processing, AI, etc.) send only the data required for that operation. API keys are stored server-side in WordPress options — never exposed to visitors. Usage is billed per your Tools.Town API plan.

Lead capture (Pro+)

When enabled, form submissions may be stored in your WordPress database and optionally forwarded via webhook. You are the data controller for leads collected on your site.

Analytics

Pro tier can emit GA4 events from calculator interactions when you configure a measurement ID in plugin settings. Free tier does not phone home usage statistics to Tools.Town.
